Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL)
Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), amongst other things:- Prohibits sending commercial electronic messages (CEMs) without consent of the receiver
- Requires specific information to be included in requests for consent
- Requires specific information to be included in all CEMs
- Provides very large fines and consequences for non-compliance
